How to get divine charges as an RS3 Ironman
How an RS3 Ironman makes divine charges for augmented gear: 20 simple parts plus divine energy (225 incandescent), weaving anywhere, and the Divine-o-matic vacuum at 101 Invention.
Last verified against the RuneScape Wiki: 28 September 2026 ·
Short answer
Recipe: Each charge takes 20 simple parts plus divine energy, and adds 3,000 charges to your charge pack. You can weave it anywhere; no workbench needed.
Energy: Higher-tier energy is cheaper per charge: 2,000 pale, 1,000 flickering, 650 vibrant, 500 elder, 225 incandescent, or 100 ancestral.
101 Invention: The Divine-o-matic vacuum fills empty divine charges while you train Divination, up to 100 at a time.
All sources
| Method | Requirement | Rate and notes |
|---|---|---|
| Weave from divine energy | 4 Invention (the wiki recipe also lists 80 Divination) | 20 simple parts + energy. You do not need the energy's own Divination level. |
| Divine-o-matic vacuum | 101 Invention (boostable) | Converts empty divine charges (20 simple parts each) while gathering; about 120 per hour at incandescent wisps with a full setup at 99 Divination. |
| Simple parts: maple logs from Miscellania | Throne of Miscellania | Up to 892 maple logs a day to disassemble. |
| Simple parts: logs, tar, bars | Varies | The wiki suggests maple, acadia and magic logs, gold bars, maple incense sticks and harralander tar. |
Ironman tips
- Energy tier matters more than you think: incandescent needs 225 per charge versus 2,000 pale.
- Unprotected augmented gear drains two hours of charges when recovered from a gravestone. Paying Death drains none.
- You can hold at most 100,000 simple parts; any above that are lost.
Common questions
How do Ironmen get divine charges?
Make them: combine 20 simple parts with divine energy. Each charge adds 3,000 charges to your charge pack. At 101 Invention the Divine-o-matic vacuum makes them while you train Divination.
Which divine energy is best for divine charges?
Higher tiers need less energy per charge: incandescent needs 225 and ancestral 100, versus 2,000 pale. You do not need the Divination level for that energy to use it.
