RS3 Ironman Fletching Training Guide

Uses your Woodcutting logs; arrows supply your Ranged.

Fletching goes to level 110. Every method below is self-sufficient: no Grand Exchange, only what you gather, craft or earn yourself.

Training path

2 stages from level 1, each starting at the level you unlock it.

Levels 1–52
Unstrung bows: shortbow (1) → longbow (5) → oak (10/15) → willow (20/25) → maple (40/45) → acadia (50/55)
The July 2026 mid-game rebalance turned shieldbows back into longbows and re-tiered the bows
Levels 52–110
Broad arrows (52, Slayer-point unlock) — most time-efficient to cap; fletch yew/magic bows from PvM logs
Bank unstrung bows and string later; alch spares for Magic XP. Fletching caps at 110

Getting the resources

Without the Grand Exchange, every input comes from your own account.

•Logs: from your own Woodcutting — bank spares while training WC
•Feathers: drops, chinchompa/bird hunting, or buy from fishing-shop stock
•Bowstrings: spin flax (picked near Seers' Village) on a spinning wheel
•Arrowheads/bolts: smith from your own bars
